HOT CROSS BUNS

We have the most beautiful day sun is shining on a perfect autumn day.  But I do have one gripe.  I don't consider myself old fashioned and keep up with the times but really Hot Cross Buns have been in the shops for weeks now. What happened to ones simple pleasures like enjoying the tast of a delicious hot cross bun with or without butter only on the Easter Weekend.  I don't support the supermarkets and bakeries who have the hot cross buns available before Easter and refuse to purchase them. The original idea of the bun was to be eaten on Good Friday with the cross representing the crucifix  and is still  a practise of  many Christians I am sure.

That being said wishing you all a happy, safe and healthy Easter.
